Last chance for advance tickets
The popular annual Rotary Pancake Supper will be held this Friday (tomorrow) at the Washington-Wilkes Elementary School cafeteria beginning at 5 p.m. and tickets are still available. In fact, you don't really need a ticket - all you have to do is show up and get your ticket at the door. The menu is simple but fabulous - homemade pancakes grilled to perfection from the Rotary Club's secret recipe, tasty sausage, milk, tea, and plenty of butter and syrup. Event chairman Randy Clayton (above) encourages all to eat their fill before the W-W Tiger football game against Putnam County. Take out boxes will also be available and, as always, the Rotarians will be furnishing meals to all residents in Wilkes County nursing homes and personal care homes.
