Roy Teems

Funeral services for Roy Teems of Tignall were held Monday, October 16, 2006, at the Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Interment was in the Tignall Cemetery. He died Saturday, October 14.

Mr. Teems was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late William Robert and Nannie Bell Smith Teems. He was a member of the Tignall Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Hugh Teems of Tignall; and two sisters, Gertrude Long, Tignall, and Pauline Parker, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.

Pallbearers included Kenny Long, Allen Long, Duane White, John Crouch, Gene Heard, and Billy Savage.

Hopkins Funereal Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
