Donald Edward Walker

Funeral services for Donald Edward Walker, 80, of Metasville Road were held Monday, October 16, 2006, at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Rayner, Rev. Paul Richardson, and Rev. Jamie Callaway officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died Friday, October 13, at his home.

Mr. Walker was self-employed as a refrigeration technician, and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, June

H. Walker; a son, Kim Walker of Lincolnton; a daughter, Karon Walker, Gainesville, Fla.; a brother, George Walker, Tallahassee, Fla.; five sisters, Evelyn W. Logan, Graniteville, S.C., Ruth W. Poland, Lincolnton, Priscilla W. Styles, Conyers, Shirley W. Ashmore, Belton, S.C., and Imelda Walker, Lewiston, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers. Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
