Louise Harris Saggus

Graveside services for Louise Harris Saggus, 96, of Sharon were held Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in the Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ira McKeever officiating. She died Saturday, May 12, in Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Saggus was a native of Taliaferro County and was the daughter of the late Charles Ed Harris and Nealy Ivey Harris. She was the widow of Joseph H. Saggus. Mrs. Saggus retired from the Georgia Department of Labor as a caseworker after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Sharon United Methodist Church and the Sharon- Raytown Garden Club.

Survivors include a sister, Ella Harris Flynt, Sharon; nieces, Elinor Ruark, Bostwick, Ann Flynt Hopkins, Monroe, and Daphne Harris Tharp, Leesburg; and a nephew, E. Harris Blackmon, Washington.

Pallbearers included Neal Hawk, Grant Land, Edward Blackmon, Wayne Hisaw, Barry Ruark, and Tommy Tharp.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
