The rain falleth on the righteous...' at Saturday's concert
A good crowd filled The Square Saturday night to hear Christian singer Melanie Hart, along with Karla Thaxton Brown and Michael Moore, but somebody had been praying a little too hard for rain. The sudden downpour, however, only moved the crowd under cover, and the concert continued with everyone enjoying the music and testimony along with free hot dogs and drinks from First Baptist Church. Melanie and her family have been missionaries in the Republic of Georgia for several years, and she told the crowd of how their ministry had touched lives there, and how they had been changed by the experience.
