Edna Scott Hodges

Funeral services for Edna Scott Hodges, 100, of Jefferson City, Tennessee, were held Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Farrar Funeral Home East Chapel with Rev. Ward Ashley officiating. She died September 17, following a stay at St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Interment was on Thursday, September 20, at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens in Tennessee.

Mrs. Hodges was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Orr Scott and Martha Elizabeth Moore Scott. She was the widow of Frank Hodges. She was the sister of the late Annie Lou Scott Smith, Fannie Mae Scott Childs, Gladys Scott Childs, Mattie Scott Callaway, Gertrude Scott, Tom Scott, Charlie Scott, Joe Scott, and Sam Scott,

Survivors include her children, Harry and Jeannette Hodges, Donny and Linda Hodges, Jo Ann Seabrook and Martha Toney; three sisters, Alice Ruth Scott Childs of Elberton, Rebecca Scott Echols of Tignall, and Mary Jane Scott Pyron of Hampton; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat grandchildren.
