Just a thought

Enough with the tattoos already.

Years ago they called a woman with a lot of tattoos a slut. Now they have them all over their bodies and they call them ladies.

It has become an accepted popular thing that has totally gotten out of control and has become a social insatiable obsession. The more they get, the more they want, until their bodies are totally defaced. They call it art. Well, years ago they called abstract art that too and I thought it was totally ugly.

Even some young so-called Christians are marring and scarring up their bodies with tattoos; even putting scriptures on their bodies. Now, I wear my cap with "Trust in the Lord" on it and my inspirational T-shirts with scriptures on them, but I draw the line at the temple of the Lord, my body. It doesn't belong to me. It belongs to God and if He had wanted tattoos on me then He would have put them on there.

We as true born-again believers must not run these folks down or label them or call them names because that is not the Christian way, but we must pray for them. Can you say amen?
