Samantha Paige Danner

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Danner of Watkinsville announce the birth of their daughter, Samantha Paige, on Friday, September 21, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Samantha weighed 6 lbs. 7 ozs. and was 18 ½ inches long. She has a brother, Sean, who is seven years old.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Staples of Lavonia.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Danner of Danburg. Paternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Butler and the late Louise Butler of Tignall and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Danner of Danburg.

Mrs. Danner is the former Kim Staples of Lavonia.

Ella Marie Thornton

Chris and Jan Thornton of Commerce announce the birth of their daughter, Ella Marie, on Thursday, September 13, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Ella weighed 6 lbs. 2 ozs. and was 19 inches long. She has two brothers, Brooks, eight, and Walker, four.

Maternal grandparents are Jane Oglesby of Elberton, George and Janie Byrum of North Carolina, and Tom Oglesby, also of Elberton. Maternal great-grandmothers are Myrtice Almond and Josephine Oglesby of Elberton.

Paternal grandparents are Ellis and Pat Thornton of Washington. Paternal great-grandparents are Betty Thornton and the late J.W. Thornton of Washington and Thomas A. (Coot) Johnson and the late Mary Lee Johnson of Crawfordville.

Mrs. Thornton is the former Jan Oglesby of Elberton.

Terry Lee Treadway III

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lee Treadway Jr. of Tignall announce the birth of their son, Terry Lee, III, on Thursday, August 30, at University Hospital in Augusta. Terry Lee weighed 5 lbs. 9 ozs. and was 18 ½ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mrs. Janet Clayton of Tignall and Randy Clayton of Athens. Maternal greatgrandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mayo of Norwood, Robert Turner of Tignall and Dr. and Mrs. M.R. Clayton of Washington. Mrs. Mary Turner and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Williamson of Washington and Mrs. Lucille Nessmith of Savannah are the maternal great-greatgrandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Newsome of Thomson and the late Terry Lee Treadway of North Augusta, S.C. Paternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Doggett of Augusta and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Treadway of North Augusta, S.C. Mrs. Smith of South Carolina is the paternal greatgreat grandmother.

Mrs. Treadway is the former Holly Clayton of Washington.
