Musicians play in UGA Band Fest

John Pope and Christina Albertson participated in the University of Georgia January Band Fest last weekend and earned spots in the bands. Students from all over Georgia are selected to participate in the Fest.

Upon arrival at the university, students must go through an audition process in order to perform with one of the bands. Christina earned a spot in one of the clinic bands and John earned a spot in the Honor Symphonic Band.

"They both did great and their performances were spectacular," says Jeff Thomas, Washington- Wilkes Director of Bands.
