Frederick Quinn II receives crown at Paine College
Frederick Quinn II of Washington was crowned Mr. Paine College at Gilbert-Lambuth Chapel of Paine College in Augusta in an elaborate ceremony as a part of Paine Fest 07 entitled "A Dream Comes True."

Frederick is a 2005 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a junior at Paine College majoring in History.

At Paine, Frederick was Mr. Freshman 2005-2006, a member of the Student Ambassadors, the Student Government Association, the Orientation Team, the History Club, the NAACP, and a proud member of the Eta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Among his guests present for the ceremony were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Quinn; sister, Angela Brown; grandfather, McNeil Coleman; aunt, Sandra Coleman; and niece and nephew, Alexis and A.J. Brown.

Frederick will compete in the Mr. Historically Black Colleges and University contest in February in Jefferson City, Mo.
