The Beulah Fire Department, Lincoln County Volunteer Fire District, will give away smoke detectors to families who cannot purchase their own from 1-3 p.m., March 8. The detectors will be available on a first come, first served basis. Thirty detectors have been supplied by the State Fire Marshall. If there are any leftover, they will be available on Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. At that same time the firedepartment will be having a chicken barbecue available to the public.

The Mary Willis Library resumed its Storytime program for children on Tuesday, March 4, 10 a.m., for children toddler age to school age. At 3:30 p.m., Storytime was held for primary and elementary school children. Storytime will be held each Tuesday until the end of school when the annual Vacation Reading Program will begin.
