Third graders to present performance of 'Geology Rocks' Friday morning at 9:30

Hello everyone. We just want you to know that the whole third grade is having a play called "Geology Rocks!" at the Primary School on March 7, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. It's about rocks and minerals. In the play two girls named Jenn and Rosie are looking for their geology teacher Professor Rock. Then the girls run into Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson. They help them look for Professor Rock but they finda mountain instead of their teacher. The Volcanoes and the Earth tell them where to go and findhim. Those Ferns act like they don't know him but they really kidnapped him. The Mountains tell them about continental plates when they collide. Coming near the end, they start to rap about copper, aluminum, nickel, and lead…then opal, sapphire, emerald, and ruby. Erosion in the play breaks up the rock to a new form. Snow White and the Dwarves are in there too. Then Sherlock Holmes and Watson are finished. Rosie and Jenn go and talk to the ferns again and findProfessor Rock!
