Orators to compete at district level

The annual Washington Optimist Oratorical Contest was held at Washington Wilkes Middle School on February 28. Damon Norman was the first place winner in the boys division and Calli Nickels was the first place winner in the girls division. They will represent the Optimist Club at the district competition on March 29 in Augusta.
