M.C. Stephens

Graveside services for M.C. Stephens, 80, will be held Thursday, March 6, 2008, in the Twin Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Tatum officiating. He died Saturday, March 1, at House of Life Personal Care Home, Grovetown.

Mr. Stephens was a native of Wilkes County and was the son of the late Charlie Stephens and the late Mary Williams.

Survivors include three children, Carrie Williams, Terry Luke, and Eugene Luke; a brother, Richard Cade; a stepsister, Willie Bell Arnold; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary Inc. of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
