Politically incorrect
Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not about to put a lion under my feet in the flesh. I know God can give me the spiritual power to do so, but we must be careful what we say and sing. We don't want to mislead young folk into thinking they can whip the devil with the power of the tongue, not giving the devil any more than he's due according to the Word of God. He's out to kill, steal, and destroy. If you go to put the devil under your feet then you better have on the whole armor of God that you might stand against the wiles of the devil. Don't bite off more than you can chew. This young preacher defiedsatan within himself. He said, "I double dog dare satan to try and mess with me!" Two weeks later he was caught at t motel in bed with another man's wife. Don't think satan is stupid. He's a trickster. That's why God called him an adversary. Keep in mind before you go to put him under your fee that the only strength you have is through and by the power of almighty God. The Word of God says to first, "Submit to God, then resist the devil and then he will fleefrom you." Try and put him under your feet if you don't have on the whole armor of god and if your are not filled with the spirit and see what happens.
Don't try it your way or some songwriter's way, but rather do it God's way. Can you say amen?
