We've got to stop meeting like this

Rescue 1 and Wilkes EMS personnel tend to a driver in what is becoming an all-too-regular occurence, in which two vehicles try to occupy the intersection of East Robert Toombs and the Thomson Highway at the same time Monday morning. Washington Police and Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating the accident in which a red Corvette being driven by Pauline Haffenback of Aiken, S.C., collided with a pickup driven by Willie Thomas of Elberton. Two people were transported to Wills Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
