DaVita Washington's Sonya Roth earns award for exemplary service to patients, colleagues

Sonya Roth, the Facility Administrator at DaVita Washington Dialysis, has been awarded DaVita's national Core Value Award for Service Excellence for her exemplary service to her patients, partnering physicians, and teammates at DaVita Washington.

DaVita annually presents seven extraordinary teammates (employees) with Core Value Awards, one for each DaVita Core Value. Roth received her award for understanding and exceeding the needs of those she serves.

She has worked at DaVita for 18 years, as a nurse and a facility administrator. She has been the facility administrator at DaVita Washington for nearly four years and oversees 15 teammates and the care of 65 local dialysis patients.

Roth has led her center in providing exceptionally high clinical outcomes. Patients at DaVita Washington have expressed high satisfaction with the center and with the care provided there. She was also recognized for being a great teammate. She has frequently shared her wisdom with others and mentored many teammates to prepare them to take on leadership roles.

The Core Value Award was presented to Roth by DaVita Senior Vice President Steve Priest at the annual company meeting in Washington, D.C., attended by 3,000 teammates and friends.

Roth and her husband, Darrell Roth, have three children. Jeffrey is employed with NASCAR; Bonnie is a student at Georgia Southern University; and Betsy is a student at W-WCHS.
