Watch for motorcycles, even if the light's green

Washington Police are investigating an accident Sunday morning in which a Guyton, Georgia, couple collided with a car at Slaton's Crossing, Highway 78 at East Robert Toombs Avenue. Jerry Lee Turner, of Thomson, said that he had a green light when he turned left into the path of the 2006 Harley Davidson being ridden by a middle-aged couple. The Harley crashed into the passenger door, heavily damaging both vehicles. Both riders on the Harley were transported to Wills Memorial Hospital for treatment of relatively minor injuries.
