Episcopal Women honor Bolton Lunceford

On Tuesday, June 10, the Episcopal Church Women and friends gathered at the Church of the Mediator for luncheon to honor Bolton Lunceford. The long-time adult literacy and ESL teacher not only taught but mentored her students and their families from the Church of the Mediator's Parish House, working tirelessly for immigrant community. Her contributions to the Washington Little Theater Company were recently honored with the naming of the company's playhouse "The Bolton Lunceford Playhouse." Friends honored her for long years of dedication and service to the church and to the community of Washington-Wilkes. Hostesses for the event were Cathy Lannae and Peggy Barnett
