      Tommy and Sara Combs Jackson were honored on their 50th Wedding Anniversary at a cookout at the home of their grandchildren, Kevin and Lori Roth Tucker, in Washington Sunday, May 25. Their anniversary was May 24. The outdoor event was hosted by their children and grandchildren.

      Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Jay) Bethea Durham of Washington announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Bethea, on Monday, June 23, at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Caroline weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 20 ½ inches long. She has a brother, Jack Harvey, who will be two years old on June 27.
