Pet of the week

She is called Duffie , this young, affectionate, gentle dog. She would be an easy to care for good little companion.

Call the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter at 706-678-CATS, 3:30-5:30 p.m. Visit at 358 Brown Drive.

The animal shelter is still in need of dog and puppy food and canned cat food.

Remove road tar from between the pads of your dog's feet by first softening the tar with Vaseline. Then carefully pull the tar away from the shin. Never use mineral spirits, turpentine, or gasoline on a dog.
