Cynthia Elaine Binns

Funeral services for Cynthia Elaine Binns, 44, of Washington were held Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Springfield Baptist Church, Washington, with Rev. Norman Williams and Rev. Dennis J. Quinn officiating. She died Monday, June 16, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Cynthia Binns was a native of Wilkes County and was the daughter of the late Lillie Pink and Jimmy Binns of Washington. She was reared and educated in Washington, graduating with the Class of 1983 at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. She was employed by Subway of Washington.

Survivors include a son, Tristan R. Binns of Washington; two sisters, Louise Binns and Kay Frances Cobb of Washington; and three brothers, James Binns and Donnie Binns of Washington and Willie Frank Mc- Clendon of New York.

Davenport-McLendon Mortuary Inc. of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
