Gilland signs to wrestle in college
 | | Tyson Gilland (center), signed last week to continue his wrestling career at East Georgia College in Swainsboro under the direction of history professor and Head Wrestling Coach Reid Derr (back left). Gilland was a four-year varsity wrestler for the Washington-Wilkes Tigers where his career record was an impressive 215-23 during which time he won two region championships. In 2008, Gilland's season record was 71-1, his only loss coming in the state championship match. He was the state Class AA runner-up.
