Phillips Mill Baptist holds successful VBS last week

Phillips Mill Baptist Church Vacation Bible School was very successful last week. There was an average of 42 in attendance.

Director Charlotte Waller praises the Lord for each and every one who not only was there but supported with prayers and monetary gifts.

Several children came to know Christ during the week. Thanks to each teacher who gave their time not only during the week, but in preparation for the week. (You have a year to recuperate and we'll do it again).

Friday night the children presented a program for their families and friends, followed by a sandwich supper with chips, etc. Those who helped out in the kitchen reported a guess of at least 140 to 160 or more in attendance who stayed for the meal. That was great.

Some of the decorations were left up for the enjoyment of those attending church.
